Abandoned Baby is a reversal Japanese candlestick pattern that is formed by three candles: one doji and two candles with bodies. Before and after the doji, there is a gap.
The shadows on the doji must completely gap below or above the shadows of the first and third candle.
In a Bullish Abandoned Baby, the Doji should be under the gap that should cross under day 1 and 3 in a straight line.
In a Bearish Abandoned Baby, the Doji should be above the gap that should cross over day 1 and 3 in a straight line. (See the image below)
